This Privacy Policy describes how Enlightened Republic Tech ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

• Account info: name, email, password (hashed)
• Content you submit: prompts, files, messages, or other content you provide
• Communications: anything you send us (emails, support tickets, feedback)

Information we collect automatically:

• Device and access info: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs
• Usage info: pages viewed, features used, timestamps

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the Services, including authentication, session continuity, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
• Process your content and prompts to deliver the services you request. To generate AI responses we transmit your prompts and content to third-party model providers (see Section 3); those providers process the data on our behalf under contract and are bound by their own terms and privacy policies.
• Respond to your support requests, intake submissions, and other communications.
• Improve the Services through aggregate usage analytics. We do not use these analytics to identify you personally.
• Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and abuse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train AI models — ours or any third party's. If this ever changes we will update this policy and, where required by law, give you the chance to opt out before any training use begins.

Where we rely on your consent (for example, optional analytics or marketing communications), you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

3. Third Parties We Share With

To operate the Services, we share data with:

• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, others): your prompts and content may be processed by them to deliver the Services you request. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers
• Analytics providers
• Legal authorities when required by law

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary — for session integrity, authentication, and security. These cannot be disabled while you are using the Services.
• Functional — to remember preferences such as theme, last-viewed project, or intake progress.
• Analytics — to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Services. We prefer privacy-respecting analytics where possible. Where we use a third-party analytics provider we minimize the data shared and contractually require the provider to use it only to provide analytics to us.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, clear them on exit, or warn you before they're stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Services from working.

Do-Not-Track: we honor browser-level "do not track" signals for non-essential cookies and analytics where technically feasible.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal info for as long as your account is active, and then delete it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes.

Content you submit through the Services may be retained as part of your account and deleted when you delete your account, unless you request earlier deletion.

• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Export your data

If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA. We honor those rights regardless of where you live.

7. International Transfers

Your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Transport encryption (TLS 1.2 or higher) for all data in transit between you and our Services.
• Encryption at rest for stored personal data, where supported by our infrastructure providers.
• Access controls limiting employee and contractor access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
• Authentication controls including strong-password requirements and credential hashing for accounts.
• Network protections including firewalls, rate limiting, and abuse-detection systems.
• Vetted subprocessors with contractual data-protection obligations (see Section 3).

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law, without undue delay.

You can help protect your account by using a strong, unique password, enabling any available multi-factor authentication, and not sharing your credentials. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us at the address in Section 11.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will try to give you notice (e.g., via email or a banner on the Services). The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made.
